Feeding Amounts for Dogs
Lucky Pet's meals are very dense and nutrient-rich, so it does not take nearly as much to meet all their nutritional requirements compared to dry or canned foods. Average recommended feeding amounts are 2 - 3% of your dog's body weight per day. However, large breed dogs do not need quite as high of a percentage (1 1/2% of body weight) while toy breeds need more (4 - 5% of body weight).
Examples: 100 pound dog - 2 pounds of Lucky Pet Meals (about 4 cups) per DAY
50 pound dog - 1 to 1 1/2 pounds of Lucky Pet Meals (about 2 - 3 cups) per DAY
25 pound dog - 1/2 to 3/4 pound of Lucky Pet Meals (about 1 to 1 1/2 cups) per DAY
10 pound dog - 5 to 6 1/2 ounces (about 2/3 to 3/4 cup) per DAY
Veterinarian recommendations are that meals be varied (different meats) to ensure a completely balanced diet
